Gary accompanies his clients on their journey of growth, helping them gain new insights that allow for lasting change and authentic living.

Gary holds a Master of Counselling Psychology Degree and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor. He has a wide range of experience working in community mental health settings, non-profit counselling agencies, and providing crisis and distress counselling. Gary works with individuals, 19 years and older, and couples. He provides counselling in Punjabi and English.
His warmth and care create a safe therapeutic environment for optimal growth. Gary collaboratively works with his clients to help them develop skills that are specific to healing, meeting their needs, and facilitating change.

Gary supports adults with anxiety, stress, depression, anger, grief, low self-esteem, and trauma. He also helps couples with relationship issues and offers premarital preparation.
Gary utilizes evidence-based therapeutic frameworks to offer a holistic approach to healing. Such frameworks include Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Accelerated Experiential-Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Integrative Somatic Therapy Practice (ISTP), existential psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment theory, and mindfulness-based cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). Gary has advanced training in somatic therapy which helps clients with posttraumatic stress to release trauma trapped in the body.
