About Dr. Metta

Dr. Metta is a Registered Psychologist in the province of British Columbia. He completed his pre-doctoral residency with First Nations communities in Northern Ontario, specializing in the psychological assessment and treatment of complex trauma in adults. Additionally, he has gained experience working in a variety of public and private healthcare and outpatient settings.

Dr. Metta expertly guides clients through their complex emotions, helping them navigate challenges and achieve a more fulfilling life. He creates a safe, supportive environment that encourages self exploration and personal growth.

Specializing in couples therapy, Dr. Metta uses Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence based approach designed to uncover the emotions behind conflict and rebuild trust, safety and intimacy. In a warm, non-judgemental space, both partners are given the opportunity to feel heard and understood. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns, strengthen emotional connections, and foster lasting, meaningful change.
